To Melbourne

Day-1 Melbourne (Aug 13, 2007)

"Today I arrive at Melbourne, after long hours in airplane and with intolerant cough finally I make it..Here I am, Melbourne !"

Boarded at around 8 PM- 9 PM the night before , the plane departed to Sidney. The flight took about 7 hours from Jakarta to Sidney and landed in Sidney at 6.45 AM. One hour transit in Kingsford Airport before continued to Melbourne at 8.20 AM . At 10 AM Qantas QF135 landed in Tullamarine.

Step outside from Tullamarine, at 11 AM, I saw happy and overwhelming faces waiting for me. They are Patricia Sonata and Zaki Mubarak. Two of my Ausaid friends. They are waiting for me for a half an hour before I complete custom and immigration checklists and ready to pick me up.

I will spent my first few weeks staying in one of Ausaid scholars residence, Mbak Shinta and Mas Agus, a kind and generous family that willing to share their room for me while I stay at Melbourne. Thanks Mbak, Mas!

I know that first time will be hard time to adjust, I will miss so many things back in Indonesia, my Mom, my Miu pussy cat, Epong, friends, food,.... and hundred of lists. But, I have friends here, Patrice, Zaki, Edison, Ingrid, Mas Agus, Mbak Shinta, they all help me to pass on my first moments with no trouble. I owed you a lot Friends !

And, the journey begins..
